About
Who's behind this
Hello everyone, my name is Kyle Zahn. I have been a tech enthusiast for 6 years, and in that time I have built 15 computers of varying setups, including both AMD and Intel centered platforms.
Working with both platforms has given me a close look at what each one does well. Every build teaches you something that a spec sheet simply cannot, like which parts are truly worth the money, which ones cause problems, and where the bottlenecks actually are. K-Tech Labs is where I share what I have learned with all of you.
Everything we publish here is tested on our own hardware, at the settings you actually play at. When a part performs well, I will show you exactly why. When it does not, I will tell you that too. Any product sent to us by a brand will always be clearly disclosed. My goal is to help you make more informed and better decisions before potentially buying parts of your own.
How we test
- Every benchmark is run 3 times and the middle result is reported
- The same test bench is used for every comparison
- Real games at real settings, not just synthetic benchmarks
- Prices are checked the same week a video goes live
- Sponsored content is always labeled in the video and the description
If a number is not on this site, it is because we have not measured it yet. We would rather leave a gap than pass along a figure from a spec sheet.

Where to go from here
Start with a build guide if you are planning a machine, or the rig page if you want to know what I run every day.
