Build. Test. Game.
Let us find out which parts are truly worth your money.
Here you will find real benchmarks, real thermal results, and build guides at prices that make sense for everyday builders. Every number comes from testing we did ourselves, so you can see exactly how a part performs before you buy it.

Guides
Build guides by budget
Each guide includes a full parts list that we update when prices change. These are builds I would recommend to a friend at each budget, with every part chosen for how it performs and not just to hit a price.
The $600 1080p build
Plays most current games at over 60 frames per second on high settings. This is a great first build for anyone moving over from a console or a laptop.
The $1,100 1440p build
This is where you get the most performance for your money. It runs high refresh rates at 1440p and leaves room to upgrade the graphics card down the road.
The $2,000 no-compromise build
Built to handle 4K gaming, heavy multitasking, and streaming all at once. Every part has to earn its price, so you are not paying extra just for a name.
Setup
What I use
Testing runs on a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and an RTX 3070 inside an NZXT H9 Flow. That same machine is the bench behind every number on this site.
How we test
Why you can trust these numbers
Every result on this site comes off my own test bench, at the settings people actually play at. I have been a tech enthusiast for 6 years and have built 15 computers on both AMD and Intel platforms, so you are getting results from someone who has made the mistakes already.
- Every benchmark is run 3 times and the middle result is reported
- The same test bench is used for every comparison
- Real games at real settings, not just synthetic benchmarks
- Prices are checked the same week a video goes live
- Sponsored content is always labeled in the video and the description

Working with brands
I would be thrilled to work with hardware and peripheral brands on sponsored segments, dedicated reviews, and long-term testing. The one condition is that my honest opinion of the product always stays my own.
